The Theodotou Collection of Byzantine Coins and artifacts has been established at Princeton University, establishing it was the largest collection of its kind in the world.
​
In 2013, Pam assumed the stewardship of the largest Byzantine coin collection in the world which had been collected by her parents, Chris and Helen, over a period of 50 years. After eight years of digitizing the collection, she negotiated a transfer of the collection to Princeton University, where it will be subject to continued study and enrichment of our knowledge of the Byzantine Empire. Pam is also a collector herself and owns one of the world largest Byzantine glass collections in the world.

Pam Theodotou
Pam's interest in the Byzantine period stems from her family lineage. Her last name is documented in many artifacts of the time. Her family is also a celebrated authority in Byzantine history. In 2013 with the passing of her mother Helen Theodotou, Pam assumed the stewardship of the largest Byzantine coin collection in the world that had been collected by her parents, Chris and Helen, over a period of 50 years. Ms. Theodotou holds a B.S. in biology/genetics and a law degree from Case Western Reserve University and an MFA from CCAD in film and digital media. She is an attorney with Baker Hostetler, is an adjunct faculty member at CCAD, and works with OSU’s Byrd Polar and Climate Research Center as a Media Specialist, making films about climate change. She has been making documentary films over the past 20 years, all of which have been received well by critics. The Golden Horn project flowed out of a film script, Byzance, which won writing awards, including placing in the New Century Writer Awards, an official selection in the "Good to Go" Program sponsored by the Female Eye Film Festival in Toronto, and was an official quarterfinalist in the Francis Ford Coppola Zoetrope Studios Screenplay Competition.

In 2020 Theodotou joined forces on this project with Michael Mollick, a colleague and writer/producer whose work spans film, television and authorship of several novels, to transform the film script into a TV series.

Michael Mollick
Michael Mollick began his artistic career as a real world painter, migrating to computers and digital imaging in the early 1990's, even as he exhausted several genre's of popular fiction and set out to teach himself philosophy, mathematics, and how to write fiction. Along the way, he became an expert on computers, world religions, Freemasonry, and certain periods of history, namely 16th Century Elizabethan and 6th Century Byzantine history.

He is a father to five beautiful children and grandfather of 3.
